So i bought another one of these lens’es. I had to sell the first one to pay down some stuff. But now that i have some money again, its nice. I cant belive a lens as good as this only costs 85 bucks. (used) its so sharp and so good. Especially on the d90 with autofocus motor its officially my favorite combo

So i got a letter from the financial aid office this saturday stating that my Pell grant has been upped from 760 to 1512 and that i was awarded the Oregon Oppertunity grant for 570 a term. this basically covers all my classes and books each term. I am very very very happy with that. on top i also got accepted for a work study job in the Issue room at my work and qualified for food stamps ( for those of you, the norwegian ones, who dont know what food stamps are. It is a debit card given to you by the state with a certin amount (in my case 175) on it every month. Which can only be used for food) Which means that i am finally up and ready to go. School is closed for the term and i am so ready for the break. and because i have this finacial backing now i can finally start looking for my own small place whoohoo

The best way to a man's heart

is through his stomach. Youve all heard thay saying but i got a lesson in just how true it is on monday. Helen was in town and stranded so i headed out there after work to check out her car and have dinner with her. Well little did i know that she had big plans. Plans involving roasting chesnuts and the most delicous pumkin ever. After about 2 hours work in the kitchen she served me the most delicious meal of the season. And for the last day i have just been overflowed with this warm thankfull feeling. Its not just the food its all the care and attension and thoughts to plan it. I will definatly remember that meal for a long time.

My mom had one of those when i was in elementary school. And i really want one now..
